Description: The leaves of this Goomtee mucatel is well roasted and has the perfect brownish hue along with delicate golden tips which may be seen in plenty. Teas from Goomtee are much awaited by a true Darjeeling tea lover as they have that characteristics true Darjeeling taste. The presence of deliciously brownish coloration of the leaves along with plenty of golden tips, accentuate the look and feel of the made tea and gives it a wonderful rounded muscatel aroma.
When sipped initially, one is greeted by at-least four different notes along with distinct muscatel flavour, just like a brilliant fireworks on display in a night sky, flowering and bursting one after another. Complex tastes are noted from this delicious tea which promises of being one of the best muscatels to arrive this summer. The slight astringent taste gradually fades leaving a vacuum, and when you feel that its all over, you are greeted with a nice feel-good mouth feel, which is felt on the frontal regions of the palate and tongue.
This tea tastes more splendid when relished as it gradually cools with much better muscatel and peppy notes and fruit like taste. It finally leaves a sweet aftertaste as a mouth feel which linger for a while.
A perfect tea which may be relished without any additives and also for those who love their teas with a dash of sugar. A excellent and premium tea for breakfast and as afternoon tea or a tea for any special occasion to treat your self to a fine drink from the hills.
Steeping Advised: For a cup of tea, 2.5gm to a 200ml filtered water is brought to a boil and cooled to 90 °C (192 °F) and steeped for 4½ minutes to 5minutes. This tea may be had with sugar along with milk.
